Macrophage Inflammatory Protein-3 Beta Human Recombinant (CCL19), MIP 3b Human, 20ug |
Description
Macrophage Inflammatory Protein-3 beta Human Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated, polypeptide chain containing 77 amino acids and having a molecular mass of 8809 Dalton.
The MIP-3b is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
Amino acid sequence
The sequence of the first five N-terminal amino acids was determined and was found to be, Gly-Thr-Asn-Asp-Ala.
Biological Activity
The Activity of CCL19 is calculated by the ability to chemoattract Human T cells using a concentration of 10-50ng/ml corresponding to a Specific Activity of 20,000-100,000IU/mg.
Lyophilized without any additives.
Physical Appearance
Sterile Filtered White lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder.
Purity
Greater than 98.0% as determined by(a) Analysis by RP-HPLC.
(b) Analysis by SDS-PAGE.
Solubility
It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized Macrophage Inflammatory Protein-3b in sterile 18M¦¸-cm H2O not less than 100ug/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.
Source
Escherichia Coli.
Stability
Lyophilized MIP-3b although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18¡ãC. Upon reconstitution CCL19 should be stored at 4¡ãC between 2-7 days and for future use below
-18¡ãC. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA).
Please prevent freeze-thaw cycles.
