Description
Sincalide also called CCK-8 has a molecular formula of C49H62N10O16S3 , H-Asp-Tyr(SO3H)-Met-Gly-Trp-Met-Asp-Phe-NH2 having a Mw of 1143.29 Dalton.
Formulation
The Sincalide was lyophilized from a concentrated (1 mg/ml) solution with no additives.
Physical Appearance
Sterile Filtered White lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder.
Greater than 98.0% as determined by RP-HPLC.
Solubility
It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized Sincalide in sterile 18M¦¸-cm H2O not less than 100 ug/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.
Stability
Lyophilized Sincalide although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18¡ãC. Upon reconstitution CCK-8 should be stored at 4¡ãC between 2-7 days and for future use below -18¡ãC.
For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA).
Please prevent freeze-thaw cycles.
