Skeletal Muscle Troponin-C Rabbit, TNC Rabbit, 5mg |
Description
Rabbit Skeletal Muscle Troponin-C is a single, glycosylated, polypeptide chain having a molecular mass of 18,096 Dalton.
Troponin-C is one of three subunits that form the Troponin complex of striated muscle thin filaments.
Skeletal muscle Troponin-C is purified using a combination of ion-exchange and affinity chromatography steps.
Formulation
Lyophilized from a solution (23.2 mg/ml) containing 150mM sodium chloride, 10mM sodium phosphate and 0.05% sodium azide, (pH 7.2).
Physical Appearance
Sterile Filtered White lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder.
Greater than 95.0% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Solubility
It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized Troponin C in sterile 18M¦¸-cm H2O not less than 100ug/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.
Source
Rabbit Skeletal Muscle.
Stability
Lyophilized Troponin C although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18¡ãC. Upon reconstitution Troponin C should be stored at 4¡ãC between 2-7 days and for future use below -18¡ãC.
For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA).
Please prevent freeze-thaw cycles.
Synonyms
