Description

Beta Defensin-2 Mouse Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 51 amino acids and having a molecular mass of 5.5kDa.
The BD-2 is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.

The Mouse BD-2 was lyophilized from a 0.2?m filtered concentrated solution in PBS, pH7.4.

Physical Appearance
Sterile Filtered White lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder.

Purity
Greater than 98.0% as determined by:
(a) Analysis by RP-HPLC.
(b) Analysis by SDS-PAGE.

Solubility
It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized Beta Defensin-2 in sterile 18M¦¸-cm H2O not less than 100ug/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.
