Eotaxin Mouse Recombinant (CCL11), Eotaxin Mouse, 20ug |
Description
Eotaxin Mouse Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 74 amino acids and having a molecular mass of 8403.2 Dalton.
The CCL11 is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
Amino acid sequence
The sequence of the first five N-terminal amino acids was determined and was found to be His-Pro-Gly-Ser-Ile.
Biological Activity
The Biological activity was determined by measuring the dose dependent phosphorylation of ERK1 and ERK2 in CCR3 transfected 293 cells. Significant ERK phosphorylation is observed with >100 ng/ml (corresponding to a Specific Activity of 10000IU/mg) of recombinant mouse eotaxin.
Physical Appearance
Sterile Filtered White lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder.
Purity
Greater than 95.0% as determined by(a) Analysis by RP-HPLC.
(b) Analysis by SDS-PAGE.
Solubility
It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized Eotaxin in sterile 18M¦¸-cm H2O not less than 100ug/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.
Source
Escherichia Coli.
Stability
Lyophilized Eotaxin although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18¡ãC. Upon reconstitution CCL11 should be stored at 4¡ãC between 2-7 days and for future use below
-18¡ãC. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA).
Please prevent freeze-thaw cycles.
Synonyms
Small inducible cytokine A11, CCL11, Eosinophil chemotactic protein, chemokine (C-C motif) ligand 11, SCYA11.
Usage
TSZGENE's products are furnished for LABORATORY RESEARCH USEONLY. The product may not be used as drugs, agricultural or pesticidal products, food additives or household chemicals.
