Biological Activity
The recommended concentration in responsive cells is 0.1 to 2ng/ml corresponding to a specific activity of 0.5-10MIU/mg.

Description
FGF-2 Bovine purified from bovine piruitary is a single, glycosylated, polypeptide chain having a molecular mass of 16kDa.
The basic-FGF is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.

Formulation
The FGF-basic Bovine was lyophilized from a concentrated sterile solution containing 50mM Na2HPO4, pH-7.5 & 0.5% HSA.

Sterile Filtered White lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder.

Purity
Greater than 95.0% as determined by(a) Analysis by RP-HPLC.
(b) Analysis by SDS-PAGE.

Solubility
It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized FGF-2 Bovine Recombinant in sterile 18M¦¸-cm H2O not less than 100ug/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.
