Description
GDF15 H-variant Human Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a homodimeric, non-glycosylated, Polypeptide chain containing 2x113 amino acids and having a molecular mass of 24.8 kDa.
The GDF15 H-variant is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
Fomrulation
GDF15 H-variant is lyophilized without additives.
Purity
Greater than 95.0% as determined by
(a) Analysis by RP-HPLC.
(b) Analysis by SDS-PAGE.
Solubility
It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized GDF15 H-variant in sterile 5mM AcOH (acetic Acid) at a concentration of 100ug/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.
Source
Escherichia Coli.
Stability
Lyophilized GDF15 H-variant although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18¡ãC. Upon reconstitution GDF15 should be stored at 4¡ãC between 2-7 days and for future use below -18¡ãC.
For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA).
Please prevent freeze-thaw cycles.
