Description
The E.coli derived recombinant Biotin Labeled protein contains the HCV core nucleocapsid immunodominant regions, amino acids 2-192, having an MW of 22kDa. The protein is fused to beta-galactosidase (114 kDa) at the N-terminus.

Formulation
20mM Tris-Hcl pH 8 and 8M urea.

HCV Core protein was purified by proprietary chromatographic technique.

Purity
HCV Core protein is >95% pure as determined by 10% PAGE (coomassie staining).

Specificity
Immunoreactive with sera of HCV-infected individuals.
