Description
The E.Coli derived recombinant protein contains the HSV-1 gG immunodominant regions, 84-175 amino acids.

Applications
HSV-1 gG antigen is suitable for ELISA and Western blots, excellent antigen for detection of HSV with minimal specificity problems.

Formulation

(1mg/ml) 25mM Tris-HCl pH 7.2, 1mM EDTA, and 50% glycerol.

HSV-1 gG was purified by proprietary chromatographic technique.

Purity
HSV-1 gG protein is >95% pure as determined by 10% PAGE (coomassie staining).

Specificity
Immunoreactive with sera of HSV-infected individuals.

Stability
