Applications
1. Positive control for Western Blot.
2. Antibody production.
3. Protein Assay.
Description
IGFBP6 Human Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated, polypeptide chain containing amino acids 148-240 and having a molecular mass of 20 kDa including 4kDa His tag.
IGFBP6 is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
Formulation
IBP-6 was lyophilized from a concentrated (1mg/ml) solution containing 1X PBS, 0.1% SDS and 1mM DTT.
Physical Appearance
Sterile Filtered White lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder.
Purity
Greater than 80.0% as determined by(a) Analysis by RP-HPLC.
(b) Analysis by SDS-PAGE.
Solubility
It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized Insulin-Like Growth Factor Binding Protein-6 in sterile 18M¦¸-cm H2O not less than 100ug/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.
Source
Escherichia Coli.
Stability
Lyophilized IBP6 although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18¡ãC. Upon reconstitution
IGFBP-6 should be stored at 4¡ãC between 2-7 days and for future use below -18¡ãC.
For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA).
Please prevent freeze-thaw cycles.
Synonyms
IGFBP-6, IBP-6, IGF-binding protein 6.
