Amino acid sequence

The sequence of the first five N-terminal amino acids was determined and was found to be Met-Cys-Ser-Leu-Pro.

Biological Activity

As measured by its binding ability in a functional ELISA, immobilized IL1F10 at 1 ug/ml (100 ?l/well) can bind rHuIL-1 Rrp2/Fc Chimera with a linear range of 0.15- 5 ug/ml.

Description

IL1F10 Human Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated, Polypeptide chain containing 152 amino acids and having a molecular mass of 17kDa.
The IL1F10 is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.

IL1F10 was lyophilized after extensive dialysis against 20mM Phosphate buffer, pH7.4.

Physical Appearance
Sterile Filtered White lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder.

Purity
Greater than 95.0% as determined by:
(a) Analysis by RP-HPLC.
(b) Analysis by SDS-PAGE.

Solubility

It is recommended to quick spin followed by reconstitution of IL1F10 in PBS to a concentration no less than 100 ug/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.

Stability
Lyophilized IL1F10 although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18¡ãC. Upon reconstitution IL1F10 should be stored at 4¡ãC between 2-7 days and for future use below -18¡ãC.
