Biological activity
Measured in a cell proliferation assay using CTLL2 mouse cytotoxic T cells. The ED50 for this effect is < 2.5 ng/ml, corresponding to a specific activity of less than 400,000units/mg.

Description
Interleukin-2 Mouse Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 170 amino acids (21-169 a.a) and having a molecular mass of 19.5kDa.
The mouse IL-2 is fused to a 20 amino acid His tag at N-Terminus and purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.

The Mouse IL2 protein (0.5mg/ml) is supplied in Phosphate Buffered Saline (pH7.4) 0.1M NaCl, and 20% glycerol.

Greater than 90.0% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
