Biological Activity
Mouse p28 biological activity was measured via dose-dependent inhibition of TGF-beta and IL-6-induced IL-17A expression in mouse CD4 splenocytes. 50ng/ml  corresponding to a Specific Activity of 20,000IU/mg of mouse p28 is capable of inhibiting >25% of IL-17A expression in this assay.

Description
Interleukin-27 Mouse Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 207 amino acids and having a molecular mass of 23.7 kDa.
The Murine IL-27 is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.

Lyophilized from 10mM Sodium Phosphate (NaP) buffer pH-7.5.

Physical Appearance
Sterile Filtered White lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder.

Purity
Greater than 95.0% as determined by(a) Analysis by RP-HPLC.
(b) Analysis by SDS-PAGE.

Solubility
It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized Interleukin-27 in sterile 18M¦¸-cm H2O not less than 100ug/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.

Stability
Lyophilized Interleukin-27 although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18¡ãC. Upon reconstitution IL27 should be stored at 4¡ãC between 2-7 days and for future use below -18¡ãC.
