Description
Maltose Binding Protein E.Coli Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 387 amino acids and having a molecular mass of 42 kDa.
Formulation
The Maltose Binding Protein solution (1 mg/ml) contains 20mM Tris-HCl pH-8.
Purity
Greater than 95.0% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Source
Escherichia Coli.
Stability
Maltose Binding Protein although stable 4¡ãC for 4 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18¡ãC. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA).
Please prevent freeze-thaw cycles.
Usage
TSZGENE's products are furnished for LABORATORY RESEARCH USE ONLY. The product may not be used as drugs, agricultural or pesticidal products, food additives or household chemicals.
Biological Activity
One unit is defined as the amount of enzyme needed to cleave 1 mg of fusion protein in 16 hours to 95% completion at 20¡ãC in a buffer containing 25 mM Tris-HCl, pH 8.4, 150 mM NaCl, and 2.5 mM CaCl2.
