Description
Neutrophil Gelatinase Associated Lipocalin Human Recombinant is expressed in Pichia pastoris having a molecular weight of approximately 21kDa.
The LCN2 is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.

Formulation
LCN2 was lyophilized from 0.02M NH₄HCO₃.

Physical Appearance
Sterile Filtered White lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder.

Greater than 96% as determined by SDS-PAGE.

Solubility
It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized LCN2 in sterile 18M¦¸-cm H2O not less than 100ug/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.

Stability
Lyophilized LCN2 although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18¡ãC. Upon reconstitution LCN2 should be stored at 4¡ãC between 2-7 days and for future use below -18¡ãC.
For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA).
Please prevent freeze-thaw cycles.
