Biological Activity
PlGF-2 human Recombinant can bind to immobilized rh-sFlt-1 (100ng/well) with a linear range at 0.3¨C10ng/ml corresponding to a Specific Activity of 0.1-3.4MIU/mg.

Description
Placenta Growth Factor-2 Human Recombinant produced in insect cells is a homodimer, glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 2 x 152 amino acids and having a total molecular mass of 44 kDa.
The PLGF-2 is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.

Formulation
Lyophilized from a concentrated (1mg/ml) solution containing BSA.

Sterile Filtered White lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder.

Purity
Greater than 80.0% as determined by(a) Analysis by RP-HPLC.
(b) Analysis by SDS-PAGE.

Solubility
It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized Placenta Growth Factor 2 in sterile 20mM acetic acid not less than 100ug/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.

Stability
Lyophilized Placenta Growth Factor-2 although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18¡ãC. Upon reconstitution PLGF2 should be stored at 4¡ãC between 2-7 days and for future use below -18¡ãC.
