Description
Sonic HedgeHog Recombinant Human produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 175 amino acids and having a molecular mass of 19,683 Dalton. The Human Sonic Hedgehog is 99% homologous to the mouse gene.
Cysteine at position 25 has been substituted with Ile.
The Sonic HedgeHog is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.

Lyophilized from a concentrated (1mg/ml) solution in water containing 10mM sodium Phosphate buffer pH-7.5.

Sterile Filtered White lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder.

Purity
Greater than 97.0% as determined by(a) Analysis by RP-HPLC.

Solubility
It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized Sonic HedgeHog with sterile water at a concentration of 0.1 ¨C 0.5 mg¡¯s/ml, which can be further diluted into other aqueous solutions.
