Amino acid sequence

The sequence of the first five N-terminal amino acids was determined and was found to be Met-Trp-Asn-Met-Met.

Description

SOX2 Human Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated, Polypeptide chain containing 317 amino acids and having a molecular mass of 34.3kDa.
The SOX2 is fused to a C-terminal poly-arginine tag and purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.

Formulation

SOX2 was lyophilized after extensive dialysis against PBS.

Sterile Filtered White lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder.

Purity
Greater than 95.0% as determined by:
(a) Analysis by SEC-HPLC.
(b) Analysis by SDS-PAGE.

Solubility

It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized SOX2 in sterile PBS not less than 100ug/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.

Stability
Lyophilized SOX2 although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18¡ãC. Upon reconstitution SOX2 should be stored at 4¡ãC between 2-7 days and for future use below -18¡ãC.
