Amino acid sequence
The sequence of the first five N-terminal amino acids was determined and was found to be Ala-Leu-Asp-Thr-Asn.

Description
The TGF-b 1 (177-391 a.a.) is purified by standard chromatographic techniques and shows a 51 kDa band on SDS-PAGE (including GST tag).

Formulation
The protein solution contains 50mM Tris-Acetate, pH-7.5, 1mM EDTA and 20% Glycerol.

Sterile Filtered solution at a concentration of 0.1 mg/ml.

Purity
Greater than 80.0% as determined by(a) Analysis by RP-HPLC.
(b) Analysis by SDS-PAGE.

Stability
TGF-beta 1 although stable at 4¡ãC for 1 week, should be stored desiccated below -18¡ãC.
For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA).
