Description
Contains 583 amino acid residues derived from the prototypical bovine serum albumin sequence. Suitable for use as a biochemical, excipient (an inert substance used as a diluent or vehicle for a protein), in culture media and chromatographic applications.

Lyophilized freeze dry Off-White Powder.
Greater than 97.0%.
Solubility
It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized BSA in sterile 18M¦¸-cm H2O for 20 minutes at room temperature and at a concentration no greater than 200mg/ml.

Stability
Lyophilized BSA although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18¡ãC. Upon reconstitution BSA should be stored at 4¡ãC between 2-7 days and for future use below
-18¡ãC.
