Uridine Phosphorylase Salmonella Typhimurium Recombinant, UPP1 Salmonella, 50ug |
Introduction
Uridine phosphorylase from Salmonella typhimurium (StUP) catalyzes the reversible phosphorolysis of uridine with the formation of ribose-1-phosphate and uracil.
Activity Determination
One unit phosphorylates 1¦Ìm of uridine within 1 min at pH 7.3.
Description
Uridine phosphorylase Salmonella typhimurium Recombinantproduced in E.Coli is a non-glycosylated, polypeptide having a total molecular mass of 163068 Dalton.
30 U/mg protein.
Formulation
The UPase was lyophilized from 1mg/ml solution containing 25mM Tris-HCl, pH 8.0, 0.15M NaCl.
Physical Appearance
Sterile Filtered white lyophilized powder.
Purity
Greater than 95.0% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Solubility
It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized UPase in sterile 18M¦¸-cm H2O not less than 100 ug/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.
Source
Escherichia Coli.
Stability
Lyophilized UPase although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18¡ãC. Upon reconstitution UPase should be stored at 4¡ãC between 2-7 days and for future use below -18¡ãC.
For long-term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA).
Please prevent freeze-thaw cycles.
